Greater Texas Community Partners is an umbrella organization that facilitates statewide partnerships between Child Protective Services and local organizations throughout the state of Texas. Our goal is to help these local organizations meet their goals of supporting local CPS caseworkers and meeting the needs of children in the CPS system. If you would like to nominate someone for a volunteer service award please complete the form below. You will then need to download and complete the nomination form.
EMY LOU BALDRIDGE Partnership Award
The Emy Lou Baldridge Partnership Awards were established in 1997 to honor the co-founder of Greater Texas Community Partners. These awards provide a format in which to recognize a deserving adult individual, youth individual, group, CPS caseworker and corporation each year who, by working through their local Community Partners sites, make a significant difference in the lives of abused and neglected children. Recipients receive a special commemorative award and $500 to donate to the charity of their choice.
President's Volunteer Service Award
The President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation was established in 2003 to encourage the recognition of outstanding volunteer service, and to increase awareness of how Americans throughout history have helped to meet the vital needs of their communities through volunteer service and civic participation.
The President’s Volunteer Service Award is a national recognition program rewarding commitment to volunteer service. Youth, adults, families, and groups are eligible for this special award.
